Labour Program Unit 


The Labor Program has provided legal consultation, representation and defense in over 2,000 labor disputes, protecting the rights and entitlements of more than 75,000 marginalized workers and their representatives. The Labor Program has further repatriated more than 800 Cambodian migrant workers from conditions of labor and human trafficking. More than 3,000 workers, representatives and union leaders have been educated in their labor rights under the Labor Programís intensive and peer training programs. Further the LPU has been influential in the establishment of the Arbitration Council, garment industry wage increases and relevant temporary bans and sub-decrees on migrant work.
